Upon entering, you will immediately be impressed with the spacious and well-lit living room, furnished sofas (one converts into an extra bed), arm chairs and a flat screen TV. The parquet flooring, ceiling beams and corner hearth separating the living room from the kitchen distinguish this warm and comfortable interior, where you will feel at home right away!
The elegant kitchen features light colours that exalt the palladiana flooring and is fully equipped for all your cooking and serving requirements: microwave, oven, gas stove, dishwasher and kettle. The washing machine is hidden away in a compartment.
Access to the first and extremely spacious balcony is from the living area; here you can enjoy wonderful views of the canal, for a truly Venetian ambience. The area is equipped with everything you’ll need for spending time and eating together.
To the left of the entrance, a corridor leads to the first bathroom where blue and light blue colours prevail. It features an emotional shower, for moments of pure relaxation. You then reach the first double bedroom with bed, TV and access to the second large balcony, which is also furnished, to further enhance your comfort.
To the right of the entrance you will find a utility room with closets, the second bedroom with a double bed, TV, wardrobe, chest of drawers and access to the balcony just like the other room, but this time with a view of the canal. The second bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom and is characterised by marble, light colours and a beautiful corner Jacuzzi with canal views, for moments of pure relaxation.
The apartment is fitted with a central heating system with relative adjustable thermostats for the living area and bedrooms. The apartment is fitted with an alarm system, whole-home audio and Wi-Fi.
Location
Location is another strong point of this apartment: it is just a short walk away from the city’s main terminal. Piazzale Roma (last stop for cars and buses travelling to Venice) is just a 3 minute walk away, and the Venezia S. Lucia railway station is just 10 minutes away by foot. The apartment is also a short walk away from the waterbus stop of Piazzale Roma and San Tomà , where you can also catch the gondola-ferry that crosses the Grand Canal and takes you to the San Marco district.
As far as art and culture are concerned, the property is a few metres away from the Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, one of Venice’s most important churches, with splendid paintings by Tiziano and Bellini, and the Ca’ Rezzonico Museum, home to 18th century Venetian works of art.
The Rialto Bridge is just 10 minutes away by foot, along a route that winds through narrow alleyways and vibrant squares, including San Polo and Santa Margherita. Piazza San Marco is just a 20 minute walk away, with its Basilica and spectacular museums.
There is no shortage of excellent pastry shops close to the apartment (including Majeur, just a 3 minute walk away), as well as restaurants, bars and a supermarket.
